SENIORS WILL VOTE TODAY FOR OFFICERS

Voters Must Indicate Order of Choice for Three Marshals--P. H. Robb '25 Heads Counting Committee

The Nominating Committee yesterday announced that John Henry Sherburne Jr., of Brookline, Mass., has withdrawn his name as a candidate for Senior Class Treasurer. William Lindsay White of Emporia, Kansas, who had been nominated for Odist, has also resigned.

For the election of the 1924 Class Officers, the polls will be open in the rear vestibule of Sever Hall from 9-6 o'clock today. Seniors are urged by the Committee to take notice of the eligibility lists for voting, which are posted in the Union, Sever Hall, the Crimson Building, Phillips Brooks House, and Memorial Hall.

In voting today Seniors will place a check opposite the name of one nominee for every position except in the case of the Marshals, of whom three are to be elected according to the following the rule in the constitution of the Senior class:

"Every elector shall vote for three candidates for Marshals, indicating his preference for First Marshal. Of the three elected, the candidate receiving the highest number of votes for First Marshal shall be declared First Marshal; of the other two, the one whose total vote, is higher, shall be Second Marshal, and the other one Third Marshal."

The Junior Nominating Committee, which has been appointed to count the ballots, will start work at the Union at 6.30 o'clock today. P. H. Robb is chairman, and the other members are W. S. Blanchard, P. P. Chase, H. T. Dunker, Joe de Ganahl, Morrison Mills, Thomas Nickeson Jr., and B. F. Rice-Bassett.

The following Juniors have been appointed poll-watchers:

9-10, J. McC. Roote, Gardner Cowles Jr.; 10-11, W. M. Austin, Russell Dewart; 11-12, B. R. Cutcheorn, J. P. Whittall; 12-1, Haskell Crocker, A. W. Samborski; 1-2, G. P. Ludlam, D. B. Fleming; 2-3, C. P. Morehouse, H. M. Paine; 3-4, W. H. Gratwick, L. L. Robb; 4-5, Merrill Garcelon, Phillip Walker; 5-6, C. C. Nast, Hiller T. Innes.
