The Freshman baseball team suffered Its second defeat of the season Saturday at Soldiers Field, succumbing to the hard hitting and clean fielding of Williston Seminary, by the score of 6 to 3. Coach Davidson tried three pitchers before the end of the contest, but they were all ineffectual. Captain Maher played steadily through the whole game, but he was handicapped by his injured finger.

The Crimson was held scoreless until the last of the fifth, when Maher and McGlone both scored. Maher started off the inning with a well placed single, reached second when the Williston center fielder dropped McGlone's fly, and scored on another single by Knowlton.

The teams batted as follows:

Harvard 1926--McGlone s.s., Knowlton (Sanches) 2b., Atkinson (La Tullipe) 3b., Todd c.f., Field 1b., Pratt l.f., Alled r.f., Maher c., Puffer (Moseley) (Lewis) p.

Williston Seminary--Leanders s.s., Crandell 1b., Harris 3b., Russler l.f., Scholtre p., Richardson r.f., Kitner 2b., Tarahus c.f., Boutellier c.
