Princeton, N. J., June 7.--The Princeton ball team received its second set-back of the year this afternoon in an 11 to 4 defeat at the hands of Boston College. The visitors won the game in the sixth inning when they scored eight runs on seven hits and two errors.
The outstanding feature of the game came in the seventh when Boston College staged a double squeeze play. Another bright spot in the contest was Berg's double play in the same inning.
Princeton was obliged to use three pitchers, Thomas, Beebe, and Caldwell, while for the visitors Vargas and Kelley both worked on the mound. The home team made six errors during the course of the game as compared to three by the Boston College players.
