Noted Episcopal Bishop to Give Inside View of League at 7.45--Prof. Lyman Will Reconcile Science and Religion

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Two experts will digress somewhat from their chosen fields today in Phillips Brooks House. At 7.45 o'clock the Right Reverend Charles Henry Brent, Bishop of Western New York, will discard the usual subjects of theologians and will speak on another subject in which he is well versed. "An Inside view of the League of Nations" will be his topic. At 4.30 o'clock in the afternoon Professor Theodore Lyman will talk on "Faith and Modern Physical Theory" as the second of the three Science and Religion talks.

Both of these addresses have been arranged by the Christian Association and the president of that organization, R. H. Sears '24 will introduce the speakers at both meetings.

Bishop Brent is thoroughly familiar with his subject. He was one of a commission of three men who represented the United States unofficially at the League Assembly during the Mussolini controversy.

Professor Lyman in treating "Faith and Modern Physical Theory" is reaching out into the field of religion, but is keeping well within his chosen field. He will use stereopticon slides to illustrate the points of his talk.
