Today at West Point, the University team will attempt to obtain revenge over the strong cadet group, which defeated them last year by a score of 5 to 4. Captain E. H. Lane '24, E. L. Lane '24, Roland Fleer '24 and R. A. Durham '25 will handle the foils. The two epee men will be F. W. Saunders '24 and Lendon Snedeker '25.
For the first time in the history of Harvard College, at 2 o'clock today in the fencing room of the Hemenway Gymnasium, a Freshman fencing team will cross swords with an opponent in an official match. On account of the disbanding of the Northeastern team which was to meet the Freshmen, the second University team will step in to test the yearlings' mettle.
The second team will line up with Howard Finney '26 and A. G. Carrillo '26 as first and second men respectively, while F. Y. St. Clair '26 and A. R. Allen '26 will alternate for third place. The line-up for the Freshmen will be J. Franklin Hollis; 2 R. D. McMullan, and 3, Kendall Foss and S. D. Richards.
