Dr. Paul E. More, A.M. '93, of Princeton, N. J. comes to the University early next week for the second half year in Greek 8, a course which has been given in the first half year by Professor Gulick.
Dr. More graduated from Washington University in 1887, and received degrees subsequently from Harvard, Columbia, Dartmouth and Princeton. After one year at the University as assistant in Sanskrit, he has been away from Cambridge for thirty years, and returns after a widely varied career.
Has Had Varied Career
He taught for two years at Bryan Mar after leaving the University, and has since been connected with various periodicals as literary editor. He started with the Independent, and has since been affiliated with the New York Evening Post for six years and the Nation for five years.
Besides his work as editor of the different magazines. Dr. More has also written several book, among them a life of Benjamin Franklin, and a history of the religion of Plato. He has also translated many Greek works, notably "Prome these Bound" and the "Judgment of Socrates."
