With the publication of this morning's special Freshman Issue, the Harvard CRIMSON today enters upon its fifty-fourth year as the official news organ at Harvard.
Today's edition is the first of three trial issues which will be distributed without charge today, tomorrow, and Saturday, at the newsstands on Harvard Square. Copies of the CRIMSON will also be delivered generally through the six Freshman dormitories and will be given out at Memorial Hall during registration. Free copies of the CRIMSON Telephone Directory may also be obtained.
Subscriptions to the CRIMSON at $5.00 per year will be received at the Crimson Building from 9 to 5 o'clock daily. CRIMSON representatives will also be stationed at Hemenway Gymnasium, Phillips Brooks House, and at the Freshman dormitories to receive subscriptions from the class of 1930 during registration today.
