The University lacrosse team added another defeat to its record last Saturday, by bowing to the onslaught of a strong Cornell twelve.
With the starting whistle the University stickmen carried the play into Cornell's territory and maintained the offensice throughout the first period, Captain M. W. Linn '27 scoring twice for the home team.
With the start of the second half, however, the Cornell backs tightened up and the Cornell forwards scored almost at will, putting the ball into the Crimson net six times.
The summary:
Score, Harvard 2, Cornell 6. Goals, Linn 2, Hosterman, Coker, McCrohan, Swart, Harrison, Kammerer. Referee, N. T. Beardsley. Judge, H. Jeffers. Time, two 30-minute periods.
