Owens Scores on Line Plunge in First Quarter--Brown Eleven Makes Sole Bid in Final Period

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Second University football team succeeded in defeating the Brown Freshman eleven by one touchdown and a point after touchdown yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field.

The Crimson scoring came early in the first quarter when D. M. Owens '29 carried the ball across from the 15-yard line. Most of the Brown men stopped playing when the offside horn blew at the start of the play leaving an open path for Owens.
