A second campaign for the Senior Class Fund is being inaugurated today by T. W. Dunn '31 who was appointed Class Agent by the Harvard Fund Council. At present only 72 men have contributed $315 to the fund, which is considerably behind the fund of the class of 1930, which had reached 88 contributors and $417 at this time last year.
The contributions are all deposited towards the gift which is customarily made by every class on its 25th reunion. This class gift is usually about $150,000, and it is therefore desirable to have the fund well started before the class graduates.
The money which is collected by the classes is turned over to the Treasurer of Harvard University to extend the work and personnel of the University, to increase faculty salaries, to improve equipment, and help Harvard maintain its high standing among American universities.
