JAMES, FROST GIVEN PULITZER PRIZES ON BIOGRAPHY, POEMS

Henry James '99 and Robert Frost '99, yesterday were awarded the Pulitzer Prize in biography and poetry respectively.

James, who is an Overseer of Harvard College, won the prize with his "Life of Charles W. Eliot '53", who was president of Harvard College for 40 years, and was president emeritus until his death in 1926.

Frost, who won the Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 1924, won this year's award for his verses, "Collected Poems of Robert Frost." Oliver La Farge, former president of the Advocate, won a Pulitzer Prize last year.
