Pierian Sodality Holds Its Initial Meeting Informally

Students and Members of Faculty Are Performers at Concert

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A novel undertaking was successfully carried out last night, when the Pierian Sodality held the first of its monthly performances open to all members of the University. The purpose of these meetings is to give undergraduates and others an opportunity to play informally with the orchestra and has nothing to do with the regular concert program. Approximately fifty college men attended, not to mention several faculty members, notably Professor Coolidge and his obee. A decided increase over the number present at last Thursday's concert points to their future popularity.

The next meeting will be held before the Christmas vacation. These meetings are under the direction of Malcolm Holmes '29.
