Plans for radical expansion of the Harvard Forestry School at Petersham were revealed yesterday by Ward Shepard '10, director of the school.
Two modern structures of colonial architecture will replace the single small building which now houses the entire school. One of the new buildings will contain classrooms, laboratory, and dormitory accomodations. The other will be a museum and library.
Association of the School with the Department of Economics and the Littauer School of Public Administration is believed to be part of the plan of expansion.
The forest surrounding the School was acquired in 1907 to serve as an experiment station and as a model forest for demonstrating the results of research.
