Bindery troubles have delayed the distribution of this year's Senior Album until Wednesday, June 7, it was announced last night by Richard H. Sullivan '39. Subscribers will be able to pick up their books in the Coolidge Room in Lowell House beginning at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning.
Several innovations have been made by the 1939 Board in the book. For the first time the cover will have a Harvard scene as the background on the cover. Although the book will be approximately the same size as that of a year ago, new features have been included. Outstanding is an article on education at Harvard during the past four years. Greater length will be given to a stories on sports and the Houses.
More Snapshots
It is the policy of the 1940 Board to run several pages of informal snapshots; four instead of three pages are to be devoted to the major sports.
With 850 copies ordered from the printers, there will be some extra copies, which can be obtained from Sullivan. This year the price has been cut from the customary $10 to $7.
Chairman of the Album Board is Robert M. Bunker. Others include Harold M. Curtiss, Jr. and James Tobin who are editorial men; Robert E. L. Strider, photography; and Sullivan for Business.
