Captain "Sonny" Lyell of the tennis team yesterday was forced to join the mounting list of upset casualties in the University tennis tournament as a result of a two set drilling administered by Orm Wilson 9-7, 6-2.

Lyell, seeded number four, put up a good battle in the closely contested first stanza, but his costly errors in the second set allowed Wilson's steadiness to win out. Wilson new enters the semifinals.

Top seeded and favorite of the tourney, Al Evarts, continued his winning ways by knocking off Sophomore Jack Clark. By winning 6-0, 6-1, Evarts extended his record of not having lost a set.

Two other quarter-final matches are yet to be completed. Jim Jenkins and Bart Harvey, both Sophomores, yesterday fought to a draw at one set apiece. The third set will probably be played today, while the Sulloway--Dalyrmple affair will be played tomorrow on Divinity Field.
