Leverett Softballers Defeat Elephants by 7 to 3 Score

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In the only House softball game played yesterday, Leverett topped Eliot 7 to 3. Lowell and Winthrop, also scheduled to play, postponed their meeting until Tuesday.

After Norm Cameron of the Bunnies had to drop out in the first inning because of a bad leg, Phil Weeks took the mound for the remainder of the contest. Cameron stayed in the game, however, and got two hits in three times at bat. Neff, pitching for the Elephants, did well except for the fourth inning when he gave up five urns and the ball game.
