Sporting an unblemished record of five straight wins, a tricky, fast, and aggressive Brown Freshman eleven will attack Coach Henry Lamar's Yardlings on the Freshman field at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
The Yardlings, turned up by two gameless weeks of practice, are carrying a 500 average into their next to last contest of the season. The first Freshman eleven in years to beat both Exeter and Andover dropped a couple of heartbreakers to the Dartmouth and Boston University yearlings.
An injury to Crimson guard Pete-Coyne, who stymied B. U. backs two weeks ago and slight re-shufflings of line positions will produce a new forward wall for the Yardlings today. Practice during the past weeks included two scrimmages against the Jayvees which brought smiles to Lamar. But reports of the series to triple-threat Cub backs on route from Providence have sobered things up around the Freshman field.
