Election of ten Freshmen to the '50 Jubilee committee is scheduled for noon today in the Houses, Union, and Dudley Hall, with all formal members of the Class of '50 eligible to vote.
Chosen from the slate of 32 first-year men nominated by House Committee chairmen, the Student Council, Union Committee, and petitions signed by Class members, the successful nominees will be in complete charge of the College-wide Spring dance tentatively planned for late next month in the Union or Memorial Hall.
Voters to Choose Ten
House and Union committeemen handling the balloting said last night that voters may choose up to ten names, with election on a straight numerical basis.
Imposed by the Dean's office, the only limitation on the dance planners is an $800 maximum for the band engaged. "We would hesitate before granting that much money, however," said Council Treasurer Edric A. Weld '46 yesterday.
