Cadets Blank J.V. Eleven 32-0 with 'T', Interceptions

Ben McCabe's Jayvee eleven got a slight foretaste Friday afternoon of what was to happen 24 hours later to their Varsity comrades.

After hopefully holding the favored Cadet junior varsity to one touchdown through the first three periods of play, the Jayvee aerial attack shattered into a fourth quarter boomerang that produced a 32 to nothing defeat.

In the final quarter, Duncan Mauran went to the sidelines with an injury, and the Crimson became frantic under the seven-point deficit imposed by the Army T in the second quarter. Tailback Ralph Maloney started chucking desperation passes that found their way into the arms of Army interceptors who romped down the field for four more touchdowns and the ball game.
