Crimson swimmers left yesterday for Annapolis to compete in the Eastern Intercollegiate Swimming Meet tonight and tomorrow. There was no Harvard entry in the only event last night, the 1500-meter free style, won last year by Ted Norris '49. Two special short events are featured in the Intercollegiate Meet for the first time; Steinhart and Woods are swimming the 100-yard backstroke, and Veilman the 100-yard breaststroke.
Varsity entries: 50-yard free style-Fox (c), Hall, Brown; 100-yard free style-Fox (c), Hull, Sachnoff; 220-yard free style-Berke, Kenny; 440-yard free style-Berke, Kenny, Tolf; Dive-Briggs, Manheim; 100-yard backstroke-Steinhart, Woods; 150-yard backstroke-Steinhart, Woods; 100-yard breaststroke-Veilman; 400-yard relay-Berke, Stroud, Brown, Fox (c).
