Tallback Dick Clasby won third place in the Ivy League for individual rushing on the offense with a total of 302, following Princeton's Dick Kazmaier and Mitch Price of Columbia, according to official League statistics released this week. Clasby rolled up 500 yards on the ground, a total second only to Kazmaier's, and completed $3 passes out of 64 attempts for 362 yards.

Crimson fullback Tom Ossman's five touchdowns against Brown placed him fifth among the Lragee's scoring leaders with a total of seven tallies for the season. Cornell's Hal Soidenborg took first place with 60 points, and Russ McNeil of Princeton was second with 56.

The figures show that Princeton's championship squad dominated in almost every division. The Tigers led the League in team offense and defense, with Kazmaier taking the first-place individual offense honors. Clasby tied Princeton's star tailback for third place in the pointing figures, with an average of 37.2 yards per kick.

Mitch Price of Columbia completed 79 passes to Kazmaier's 77, but the latter led in passing yardage (977 yards) and percentage of completions (62.6). Dartmouth quarterback Gene Howard's punts went for an average of 39.5 yards in nine games to give the Indians their only league leader in the statistics.

Over-all team figures show the Crimson in seventh place on team offense and eighth on defense, with a rushing and passing average of 183.3 yards per game for themselves and 384.9 yards for their opponents.
