As the House basketball season passed the midway mark last night, Leverett blasted Adams, and Winthrop edged Lowell in the 'A' League. In a 'B' contest, Adams turned the tables on Leverett for a last-minute victory.

Meanwhile, Eliot's hockey team beat Kirkland, 4 to 2, and in House squash, Winthrop and Adams won both their 'A' and 'B' matches from Leverett and Eliot respectively, while Kirkland split with Dunster.

In the basketball games, the Bunnies laced Adams, 57 to 28, with Connie Clark pacing the winners with 12 points. The one-two punch of Stan Greene and John Canepa with 15 and 11 points respectively led the Puritans to their win over Lowell. Paul Altroechi was high man for the losers with 11 markers.

Adams whipped Leverett, 36 to 26, in the 'B' game. Ed Bogdan scored 13 points for the Gold Coasters.

Eliot overcame a first half 2 to 1 deficit in the lone hockey game to beat the Deacons. Bob Lawson looped in a goal in each period to lead the Elephants.

In squash, Winthrop's 'B' squad scored the only shutout of the day over Leverett. In the 'A' match, the Puritans just squeezed by the Bunnies, 3 to 2.

Adams scored a double win over Eliot to shoot ahead in the 'A' League cup race. The scores were 4 to 1 and 3 to 2. In the other matches, Kirkland and Dunster each won, 4 to 1. The Deacons took the important 'A' match.   'A' BASKETBALL LEAGUE   Won  Lost Eliot  7  0 Lowell  5  3 Leverett  5  3 Kirkland  4  3 Winthrop  4  4 Dunster  2  5 Dudley  2  5 Adams  1  7
