Finley Talk Disturbed By Toga-Clad Visitor

"Groton was never like this," remarked an astounded freshman as a Bacchian imitator turned the usually staid Humanities 2 lecture of Professor John Finley '25, into a temporary turmoil.

The imitator, casually munching grapes, strolled into Sanders Theatre in the middle of Finley's lecture. The usually composed professor faltered and then completely abandoned Dante to fellow the intruder's actions. The scantily clad pseudo-Roman sat down in the middle of the main aisle without cracking a smile.

Finley, though visibly shaken, quickly resumed his lecture but was unable to hold back a few chuckles as his guest remained composed throughout the remainder of the hour only stopping once or twice to munch a grape. The laurel wearing imitator, who was rumored to be a Lampoon fool, stood up at 10:55 and slowly walked out.
