Heavyweight sophomore Bob Wynne pinned his ninth consecutive opponent for Harvard Saturday afternoon in the final bout against Pennsylvania to give the varsity wrestling team--trailing by five points going into his match--a 14 to 14 tie with the Quakers.

Wynne's victory climaxed a Crimson comeback in the top three heavyweight classes. Three victories by Wynne, Captain Ken Culbert, and Bob Gilmore, plus a dramatic 11-10 decision by Lonn Miller enabled the varsity to erase an 11-point deficit caused by three lightweight losses to Penn.

Murray Loses

Miller scored first for the varsity after his escape in the last seven seconds of his bout with 147 pound John Hellwege. Sophomore Miko Murray followed Miller's victory by losing a well-wrestled 5-0 decision to Stove Froidberg, Penn's top man.

In the 167 pound class Bob Gilmor Easily out pointed Russ Down and was near pinning him when the match ended. Culbert owed out a close 9-7 victory in the 177 pound class over Ray Walker, after escaping in the last five seconds.

The Pennsylvania lightweight victories came after 123 pound Tatsue Arima dislocated his shoulder in the second period and defaulted. Both Ed Keating and Phil Andrews lost by decisions.
