Despite its 1-2 Ivy League record, the Crimson football team still leads the league in total team offense, with an average of 288.8 yards per game. Cornell holds second place with 1711 yards gained in six games for an average of 285.2 yards per game. In one game fewer than Princeton and Yale, the Crimson squad has gained 34 more yards on the ground than Yale and 47 more yards than Princeton through the air.
In team defense, however, Harvard fell off to second place behind Yale, with a game average 3.6 yards higher than the Elis'. Princeton holds third place defensively, with Brown a close fourth.
