George Van Angelis '56, until two weeks ago a member of Adams House, killed himself last night at the Worcester Airport by throwing himself into the propellor of an incoming plane.

Van Angelis had apparently been arguing with his father, when he jumped over the fence onto the airstrip, and walked into the right propellor of the plane, which was taxiing about 200 yards from the administration building.

A member of the Freshman Union Committee in 1952, Van Angelis was registered as a sophomore this year, living at 8 Prescott Street. He left the University for undisclosed reasons two weeks ago.

Neighbors at Prescott Street said they hardly knew him, and that he "kept to himself."
