The varsity track team captured its third straight victory in dual competition by outdistancing Dartmouth, 64 1/2 to 44 1/2, at Hanover Saturday afternoon.

Carl Goldman's 54 ft. 6 7/8 in. heave in the weight started the Crimson off with a win and Art Siler kept the varsity in front by tossing the short of the University record.

Winning the 45 yard high hurdles and the 50 yard dash Joel Cohen proved that he has fully recovered from an early season leg injury and should increase the varsity's previously slim chances in the sprints against Yale and Princeton next Tuesday. Captain Bob Rittenburg backed Cohen up with a second in the hurdles.

Dartmouth took the jumps and the pole vault, but the Crimson's depth in these events nearly equalized the Indian's wins. Rittenburg placed second to Dartmouth Captain John Harlor in the broad jump and tied Dartmouth's Dick Fairley for first in the high jump. Sophomore Hank Moore was second in the high jump.
