To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

Mindful of last year's letter to the CRIMSON from O. Kimball Armayor '61, criticizing the unimaginative design of the Leverett Towers, we are gratified to note that some variety has been introduced into the exterior appearance of these buildings.

Any night visitor to the Leverett Courtyard is no longer blinded by 150 watt spotlights burning into the yellow curtains. No longer does he see the insipid bright and-dark checkerboard of old; the visitor of today is greeted by a varied pattern of bright, dark, and dim. If this pleases the visitor, he may be startled by the sight of peering, bleary-eyed Leverett Men emerging from the Towers.

But this is no accident. While the bulbs in the tutors rooms remain as the architect intended, the lights in all the students rooms have been changed to watts. Meanwhile, Leverett men, undaunted by the challenge, groups forward. The Occupants of Leverett G-23,   G-24,   G-25,
