The Harvard Freshman Council voted Tuesday night to allow Cliffies to eat in the Harvard Union at no cost on Friday and Saturday nights during the interhouse trial period of February and March.
Council President William Sinkford ordered a vote after little discussion. It passed unanimously.
Meeting with the Radcliffe Freshman Council, the Harvard representatives endorsed such joint activities as a bridge tournament, a pool tournament, and a hootenanny.
Radcliffe chairman Susannah Wood '68, who led the joint meeting, expressed hope that the hootenanny could increase the meager 'Cliffe Council treasury.
