A laundry workers' strike has caused much of Harvard's dirty linen to go unwashed this week. The strike, which began April 24, is affecting 63 companies in Boston, including Gordon Linen, the firm which supplies Harvard and Radcliffe.

Although representatives of Gordon Linen had originally said the strike would end yesterday. Gerald J. Roberts '70, manager of the HSA Linen Agency, said last night he had been told that the two sides were not yet close to a settlement.

A Gordon Linen representative told Roberts that HSA could come down to the laundry and pick up the linen, but HSA has decided not to cross the picket lines.
