A documentary on the McCarthy Presidential campaign includes footage from a U.S. government film linking the American anti-war movement to the British attempt to appease Hitler in the late 1930's.
The documentary was screened for a small audience Monday at the Carpenter Center.
The film was made by Amelio Di Antonio, the director of the documentary Point of Order. It includes interviews with John Kenneth Galbraith, Paul M. Warburg professor of Economics, and Martin H. Peretz, assistant professor of Social Studies.
The film, approximately two hours in length, was viewed in unfinished form by a group of about 50 Harvard students and persons associated with the McCarthy campaign, It will be released in finished form sometime this spring.
