CUE Guide

By Alexandra D. Korry

Next year's Committe on Undergraduate Education (CUE) course guide may be divided into a biannual publication which will include two to three times as many courses as this year's guide contained, its editor-in-chief said yesterday.

Thomas R. Ruskin '80, editor-in-chief of the CUE Guide, said the publication of two separate volumes at the beginning of each semester would cut production costs and make possible an increase in the number of evaluations included in each.

The guide, which includes course evaluation and statistics, is currently compiled in the summer and published at the beginning of the fall term.

James H. Morse '78, editor-in-chief of the guide for the last two years, said yesterday one-third of the total budget for the existing format goes to salaries for summer staff members.

The guide, which in past years received funds from the CUE, will be getting an independent budget for the upcoming year, Morse said.
