ANN ARBOR, Mich.--Police have compiled a composite sketch of a man they are seeking in connection with the murders of three women near the University of Michigan campus in the last six months.
The latest victim, Rebecca G. Huff, a 30-year-old graduate student, was stabbed to death September 14 in front of her apartment building. The other victims are 17-year-old Shirley Small, killed April 20, and 23-year-old Glenda Richmond, killed July 13.
Ann Arbor police chief William Corbett said the murders were similar in that each of the victims was stabbed in the chest area early on a Sunday morning, each was a young, attractive, unescorted woman living in a large apartment complex and none was sexually molested.
"All three victims were on their way home and were accosted in front of it," Corbett said.
