To the Editors of The Crimson:

As residents of Claverly Hail would like to take issue with a statement in Paull Hejinian's article of November 26 on WHRB. He wrote that "the technical quality of the [WHRB] broadcast remains high." This is not true.

Our audio pleasures are continually accosted by WHRB's signal. The WHRB broadcast comes in as background music to any radio station, record, or tape that we try to listen to on our stereos. The tunes from the top of Holyoke Center (where WHRB's) antenna is) even invade our television and toaster oven.

We believe we speak for many residents of interference-prone Claverly, Grays, Quincy, Adams and Lowell in questioning the technical quality of a radio station whose omnipresent broadcast offends the very clientele it is supposed to please. Although we may wish to listen to WHRB at times, we do not wish to listen to it all the time. Claude Convisser '85   Benjamin Broder '85
