In the national coaches' poll released yesterday, the Harvard women's soccer team (3-0) moved into a tie for eighth place with Colorado College(2-2).
The Crimson, which entered the season ranked 12th in the country, has since racked up three 2-0 victories--over Springfield College, the University of New Hampshire.
Ivy rival Brown (3-0), three-time defending league champion, nabbed sixth place in the poll. No other Ivy squads made the top 20.
Heading the list was George Mason (4-0-1), one of several teams the Crimson will compete against in the Washington Area Girls Soccer Tournament over the Columbus Day weekend. Other top women's soccer squads slated to appear in that tourney include 14th-ranked Boston College (3-0) and 17th-ranked North Carolina State(2-2).
