From the Hardly Surprising Department: No doubt the Undergraduate Council wanted to make a good first impression on Harvard's new president. Unfortunately, the following letter--proposed in the April 7 docket--somehow slipped past the council's Proofreading Committee:

Resolved: The Undergraduate Council shall send the following letter to President-elect Neil L. Rudenstein:

Dear Mr. Rudenstein,

The Harvard-Radcliffe Undergraduate Council would like to congradulate you...

Luckily, Neil Rudenstine will be too busy getting ready to run Harvard to notice the other 12--count 'em, 12!--spelling and grammatical errors in the same three-page UC docket. A sampler:
