Radcliffe Media Win Awards

By Paul M. Golaszewski

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) honored two Radcliffe publications for their overall excellence last week.

CASE, a national professional organization of university administrators, named the Campaign for Radcliffe case statement the most outstanding publication overall.

The statement received one of the gold medals and the Best in Show Award.

No one from the publication could be reached for comment yesterday.

The committee said the case statement received the award because of its creative use of personal narrative in building support for the college.

The case statement details Radcliffe's plan to raise $100 million for education, research and policy programs. It also encourages students, alumnae and friends to participate in Radcliffe activities.

Radcliffe News, the college's quarterly newsletter, also received a gold medal.

CASE cited the publication for its overall creativity and excellence in the newsletters' category.

The newsletter contains short articles about the college's activities and is distributed to alumnae and female undergraduates.
