BRIEF: Radcliffe Races Strong Despite Weather Challenges at Head of the Charles

​In the 52nd iteration of the Head of the Charles Regatta, the black and white of Radcliffe Crew topped previous performances facing some of the toughest conditions in regatta history. With tens of thousands of spectators weathering the elements, the crews benefitted strongly from the home field advantage.


Radcliffe Rowing Opens Fall Season at Head of the Housatonic

Throughout the day, the conditions were ideal for rowing—overcast, light breezes, and calm waters. In the women’s eight event, Radcliffe fielded seven boats, both lightweights and heavyweights. In this first event, three of Radcliffe’s crews finished in top ten positions with the varsity eight securing a fourth place finish in a time of 14:09 behind Brown and two Yale boats.


Walker Kirby Leads Men's Lacrosse on Defense and Off the Field

On March 30th, Kirby was announced as one of only ten lacrosse finalists for the 2016 Senior CLASS Award, a distinct honor awarded to NCAA Division I athletes who have displayed notable achievements in the spheres of character, community, classroom and competition. Through his commitment to his team and to service, Kirby serves as an example of these cardinal values.


Early Offense Powers Softball to Sixth Straight Victory

Building upon a five-game winning streak, the Harvard softball team exploded for 10 runs for the third consecutive contest Thursday afternoon, defeating the University of Maine, 10-7, at Soldiers Field.
