Meeting of the Harvard Shooting Club.

The annual meeting of the Harvard Shooting Club was held in Holden Chapel last evening, W. Austin, '87, vice-president in the chair, President Slocum being absent.

The report of the secretary and treasurer for the past year was read and accepted. There has been a gratifying increase in the membership of the club, and more matches have been held than ever before. A letter addressed to the club from President Slocum was read. The election of officers for 1886 87 was then held. Mr. F. S. Palmer. '87, president; W. Austin, '87, vice-president; F. S. Mead, '87, secretary; M. H. Clyde, '88, executive officer; E. W. Grew, '89, treasurer.

Director from '87, W. Oakes; from '88, J. W. Austin; from '89, R. V. Walsh. It was resolved to hold a dinner sometime during the winter. An endeavor will be made to arrange matches with Yale. the University of Pennsylvania, and other colleges. An interested number of members were in attendance. Mr. J. A. Frye, '86, the founder of the club, was present, and addressed a few words of advice to the members.
