At a meeting of the Bicycle Club, held last Friday evening, a committee was appointed with Brown, '91, as chairman, to arrange for a club handicap race. The committee has decided to have the race Friday afternoon, Nov. 18. The course will be about fifteen miles long, starting at Central Square, passing through Brighton, Newtonville, Waltham and Watertown, and finishing at Mt. Auburn. There will be a run over the course several days before the race in order that contestants may know the turns. Prizes will be given to the first two men at the finish, and all others who cover the distance within a specified time will receive cups similar to those given by the H. A. A. The race will be open to all riders in the University, but prizes will be given to members only. Liberal time handicaps will be allowed, and all riders are urged to compete and help make the event a success. Fuller details concerning the course, entries, handicaps, etc., will be announced in the CRIMSON as soon as possible.
