The Glee and Banjo Clubs will begin the season with a trip at the Thanksgiving recess, visiting New York, Brooklyn, Poughkeepsie and Englewood. Both these organizations are exceptionally prosperous this year. Thirty-eight men competed for the vacancies in the Glee Club. Arrangements have been made for a holiday trip, on which the club will sing at Springfield, Northampton, Lowell and Worcester. During the Easter recess, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Canandaigna will be visited.

A football game has been arranged between the Williams and Amherst freshmen.

The need of a broader curriculum has been felt by the faculty and considerable changes will be made at the beginning of the winter term.

Among the Lecturers who will address the Williams' students this winter are Prof. Atwater of Wesleyan, Prof. Merrill of Andover, and probably Prof. Shaler of Harvard, G. W. Coble and George Kennon.
