Proposed Changes in the Rules of the Tennis Association.

The attention of students is called to the following resolution adopted at a meeting of the executive committee of the Tennis Association:

Resolved, That for the promotion of good tennis playing, priority of right in the use of four tennis courts on Jarvis Field be given, after April 1st, to sixteen members of the University. who shall play a league match, or series, of singles for the best three in five sets; That the selection of such persons be made by the executive committee with respect only to merits as tennis players; That the right be reserved only for the purpose of playing such a series; That the Association do not contribute for the prizes, unless the selected players are to be barred from spring tournament.

A general meeting for the discussion of the plan, and of whatever questions that may come up, will be held in a few days, or at least, before action is taken.
