A reading or study room has recently been established in the east wing of the Princeton library, and has met with general application at the hands of the students. (?) on the first floor or the library have been much over-crowded, and old authors and editions are being gradually sorted out and carried to the second floor. Freshmen and sophomores have been put on an equality with juniors, as far as the library is concerned, and may henceforth draw out three books at a time, instead of two, as formerly. Books are now for the first time subject to renewal at the end of two weeks. The restrictions on the circulation of books are still, however, greater than at Harvard.
