Cornell will row Bowdoin on Lake Cayuga on June 18, the day before Commencement. Charles Courtney, the professional, seems to think that Bowdoin has a very good crew, and that the race will probably be exciting. This will also give an opportunity to the townspeople and the large body of students to see the crew they support in an actual race.

It is also stated that Commodore Shearn of the Cornell Navy in his recent visit to New London secured from Editor McKinley of the New London Day, a promise of bringing before the New London Board of Trade the matter of erecting a boat house for Cornell at the expense of the town.
