A Record Broken.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Edward Klein '95, has broken the best record ever made in a strength test by a Harvard student. The best record up to this time had been that made by S. L. Foster '85, in 1884. His total strength was 1348.8 points. Klein's total of 1445.6 is made up as follows:

Strength lungs, 23.

Strength back, 340.

Strength legs, 740.

Strength upper arms, 201.6.

Strength fore arms, right, 78.

Strength fore arms, left, 63.

Of these single tests the strength of legs surpasses all previous records, the best test heretofore being 650.

The record is one that is likely to stand for a long time, unless Klein himself betters it later. His total last year was 1015.2.
