Yale played the hardest game of football she has yet had to play, at New Haves on Saturday. Brown not only scored, but held Yale down to a tie 6 to 6. Both teams played a hard, strong game throughout, and Brown's record was made solely on the merits of her team.

Brown not only succeeded in pushing the ball over for the first touchdown, but two minutes before the game ended had the ball inside Yale's 10 yard line.

Captain Thorne of Yale, was hurt after three minutes' play and watched the rest of the game from the side lines. Otherwise the Yale eleven was the strongest she could put in the field. Brown fought every inch of ground and Yale was simple unable to handle her. On the whole at critical points Brown acrose to the emergency and outplayed Yale.
