The enterprise which the Deutscher Verein and Philosophical Club have shown in arranging public lectures on Mediaeval Literature and Philosophy should receive the hearty commendation and support of the whole college. Every undertaking like this give evidence of that tendency towards broadening the intellectual life of Harvard which is so constantly manifesting itself and which is the boast of Harvard men.
