The debate of the Forum held last evening was on the question: Resolved, That it is desirable that the President should not be eligible for more than two terms. H. W. Foote and E. F. Southworth spoke on the affirmative and H. G. Gray and E. W. Capen on the negative. After the debate, several spoke from the floor.
At a meeting held after the debate, President Dobyns announced that the challenge which the club had sent to the Columbia Union for a joint debate, to be held this winter, was accepted. By vote of the house he appointed a committee consisting of H. B. Huntington '97, H. G. Gray '97, and P. G. Garleton '99 to have full charge of the arrangements for the debate. This debate is to be a strictly inter-club debate, and not in any sense one between the two universities.
The following men were admitted to membership on the recommendation of the judges at the last trial: F. Gratwick '97, A. J. Smith '99, A. R. Campbell '99, D. H. Fletcher '99.
