Assistant Professor de Sumichrast's resignation from the executive Committee of the Cercle Francais was accepted by the Cercle at its regular meeting last night. Dr. A. C. Coolidge will succeed Assistant Professor de Sumichrast as Faculty member of the executive committee.
The Cercle decided to have a silver membership medal struck. On the face of the medal will be five small shields, the centre one the shield of Harvard, the others representing France at different epochs. The reverse of the medal will bear the member's name in a wreath.
It was voted to give one hundred dollars from the proceeds of the French play to the library of the French department of the University.
