Lectures on "Civics."

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The course of six lectures on "Civic Duties and Reforms" to be given in Sanders Theatre during the winter and spring has now been somewhat more definitely arranged.

Beside the lecture on "The Police Force as an Object Lesson in Applied Civics," the third in the series to be given by the Hon. Theodore Roosevelt '80, on April 13; Ex-Mayor Nathan Matthews '75, of Boston, will lecture April 6, on "Municipal Expenditure." Other lectures, the dates and exact subjects of which have not as yet been arranged, will be given by ex-Secretary Olney '58 L., and Mr. James C. Carter '50, President of the Harvard Club of New York, and of the Harvard Law School Association, and one of the leaders of the New York Bar. There is likely to be one extra lecture but this is as yet undecided.

The expenses of the course are being provided by the liberality of Mr. Oswald Garrison Millard '93 of the New York Evening Post, who is also making the necessary arrangements.
